Who we are

Launched in 2018, Signature Concierge Housekeeping came about from personal experience of owning a holiday let and being disappointed in the quality of cleaning provided by agents.

Score high on cleanliness

Cleanliness is a vital element of a visitor’s experience whether they stay in a hotel, villa, cottage, apartment or hostel. If your holiday let isn’t cleaned to a high standard, you will lose repeat visitors and lose out on recommendations.

Co-Founder

Holiday home owner, Lisa was frustrated at the low quality cleaning service she had received herself, so came up with the idea of a 5 star cleaning and maintenance business that owners could trust.

Lucy Raffel

Co-Founder

After a number of years in management at Center Parcs, Lucy decided to progress her passion in the hospitality, hotel and leisure industry and has provided cottage management services for a number of years.

Owner & Guest Relations

I came to Signature Concierge Housekeeping after 18 years in Education & family circumstances. I decided to change career. I met Lucy and the rest is history......... Several months on, I deal with guest queries through our 24/7 customer service line. I liaise with cottage owners regarding housekeeping and maintenance issues, I also work closely with the many holiday cottage letting agencies.

Joanne Brown

Airbnb Management & Bookings

Five years managerial experience with leisure and hospitality industry. Roles included the daily management of large venue and up to fifty staff to ensure high standards of service and cleanliness. Current role with SCHousekeeping includes the daily running and organisation of our bookings app. Ensuring all new cleans are scheduled, amend any alterations to bookings, cleaners informed of any special requests and organising deep cleans for new and existing customers. Recently taken on Air B & B management which involves the day to day running of an owners property from answering queries, securing bookings and dealing with any issues.

Finance & Invoicing

I joined Signature Housekeeping nearly 2 years ago to help with the company’s finances. I am responsible for looking after invoicing, payments and bank account control. Also dealing with the owners of all the cottages, their guest and letting agents. Along with over 50 Housekeeping Staff and 5 Admin Staff which has more than doubled in the time I have been here. We are all one big team so we are all trained to be Housekeepers to a 5* standard. Prior to working for Signature Housekeeping I have over 40 years experience within the financial sector, I have also worked within many different areas of hospitality, trade and banking, most of this was within local companies.

Edwina Longden

Bookings

I started my career in the hospitality industry rising to a deputy manager within the Whitbread chain. I started with Signature Concierge on a part time basis but decided to take the plunge and leave my job in a private dental practice to join the team full time. My role within the company is predominantly cleaning whilst offering support to Joanne in the bookings department.
